Not too long ago, I was a student just like you And had multiple tutors and teachers who helped guide the way for me to do better in my courses ,do better at tests and feel good about myself academically. I have worked with students and peers for almost all of my undergraduate and graduate studies. I love teaching and I love relaying information and knowledge to students and it makes me so happy to see ny students foster a love for science and thrive. I got my Bachelors from Michigan USA and my Masters from l London Ontario in Canada. I have an undergraduate degree in biology specializing in microbiology and my masters degree in molecular genetics where I wrote and published my thesis. I studied fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) behavioral genetics and conducted experiments to fulfill the requirements of my degree. In the past I have tutored for biology, chemistry, psychology, microbiology, nursing and medical microbiology, medical terminology as well as tutoring people learn and speak English as a second language. I have worked with students one on one as well as a large classroom . My favorite subject to tutor has to be biology and microbiology I love teaching these courses because they are the basics of life and teaching them and relaying the information and guiding students understand the very basic levels of where life originates is my favorite part. My teaching philosophy is that I will not rest until my students absolutely understand every little bit of information that I am trying to guide them with. I tutor my students so they can not only memorize but understand basics and advanced levels of life sciences. My favorite thing to do when I'm not teaching is to read books specifically mystery novels, I love to cook and try out new recipes too and I always tell my students that cooking is very close to science (chemistry) watching your basic ingredients turn into a spectacular meal is one of my favorite things to do.
