Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology and a PhD in Cancer Biology, both from the University of Toronto. Following my doctoral studies, I conducted a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cancer Therapeutics and Drug Discovery at the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research in Toronto. Currently I work as a Scientist at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where I work with a group of Scientists to develop novel cancer therapeutics. I have extensive teaching experience including being a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer for various second- and third-year courses in Genetics and Cell Biology at the University of Toronto. I have also tutored high school level courses in Biology and Chemistry for the Oxford Learning Centre. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, playing and watching a variety of sports, running, and cooking.
