Certified Tutor

I graduated from Cincinnati Christian University (BA in Religion); Xavier University (MA in Classical Studies); and Duke University (Ph.D. in Religion). I am most passionate about teaching Christian theology and scripture. I have taught undergraduates and graduate students for 30+ years. I lived in and taught in Europe for two years, participated in seven archaeological excavations in the Middle East, and traveled to and taught New Testament studies in several foreign countries. I believe learning religious studies requires not only extensive academic study but wide experiences as well. I approach teaching like an athletic coach. I encourage (and sometimes push) students to become their best.
