I have earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership through Florida Southern College and have 20 years of teaching experience, including teaching in-person and online, adults and children. I love teaching English and helping students improve their writing and reading skills. My philosophy of education has evolved with my experience, but my goal has always remained the same. As an educator, I believe it is my duty to promote growth and learning among students. Helping students achieve their personal best is the work that makes me most enthusiastic. It is important to be mindful of the diversity of students; their learning styles, motivation, and abilities. I evaluated for both strengths and weaknesses, and how best to help the individual student excel and take ownership for success.

Ultimately, I believe that it is my job, as an experienced educator, to ensure that all students have every opportunity to succeed and to teach them the worth of their knowledge.

I have so many interests! I love reading fiction, particularly historical fiction. I enjoy crafting such as making things on my Cricut. I enjoy diamond painting and crocheting. I also love to cook and make homemade meals for my family and friends frequently.
