I graduated from James Madison University with an MFA in Studio Art. I received a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in Educational Studies from Lindenwood University. Since graduating, I have taught college courses specializing in 2D and 3D design. I have also tutored students in woodworking, ceramics, and figure drawing. In my personal practice I focus mainly on fibers and ceramics. I have exhibited my work across the country including New York City and Chicago. I am passionate about craft, creative exploration, problem solving, and research. While visual arts are my focus, I am also very passionate about reading, and I work to instill the joy of reading in all of my students. I have tutored ESL students through VIP Kids.
