I (she/her/hers) LOVE inter-disciplinary subjects including Art, Genetics, Law, Mathematics, Business Management and has a special interest in ethics including biomedical research, AI algorithm bias, and being anti-racist in education: such as decolonizing Art History, ensuring cultural competency in business management and uniform equitable accessibility to the rule of law through our legal justice system.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Genetic Engineering and Art with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with time spent in residence at Stanford University in Vision Science psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Ethics as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario with a lawyer license from the Law Society of Upper Canada for over a decade. I hold a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and hold a Masters in Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with artist-in-residence time spent at Brown University (Rhode Island School of Design) and Stanford University. I have worked as a university lecturer for foundational undergraduate courses in Biological Sciences and as a university research scientist in Molecular Biology as well as a university hospital Genetics Counselor. I have worked as a Web Engineer and Creative Director in Silicon Valley, California (CA), for a dot com start-up company (working with clients like Yahoo, Google, IBM, HP and more) that successfully merged with another start-up WebEx which was later acquired by CISCO Systems, a worldwide leader in networking for the Internet founded in 1984 by two computer scientists from Stanford University seeking an easier way to connect different types of computer systems now a multi-national corporation, with over 35,000 employees in more than 115 countries.

I teach with a singular focus on the best interests of my students and will often advocate for my students -- particularly my special needs students and those students who are persons of color -- beyond my classroom though writing recommendation letters and encouraging my students to apply for university programs or other educational opportunities for which they may not otherwise think they qualify.

Looking forward to our intellectual journeys together!
