I am a senior at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota studying Spanish, Political Science and Public Health. I have extensive experience as a Spanish tutor at the collegiate level, from beginners to experts, and I particularly love helping students with Spanish writing assignments and essays. Although I'm not an official English writing tutor, I'm a very confident writer and have helped many friends grow their interdisciplinary writing skills--whether on a research paper, college essay or creative piece. If you're a high school student that wants to prepare for the expectations of collegiate-level academic writing, we might be a perfect match. I'm incredibly passionate about the subjects I teach and I want my students to feel confident and successful, but also to gain an appreciation for the topic.

Hobbies

I love to spend time outdoors, whether hiking, camping, or canoeing through the Boundary Waters. I swam competitively in high school, but a shoulder injury led me to pursue Crossfit, strength and conditioning and running. I also love to cook and I love to eat--send me your favorite recipe! At my school I work as an admission tour guide and student leader, and I also mentor a group of first-year students (if you have questions about college, please feel free to reach out). My favorite ways to relax are watching Netflix, doing crossword puzzles (I know, nerd) and hanging out with my friends.
