Certified Tutor

I have been in the education world for over 20 years. Over the course of my career, I have been a teacher, tutor, writing coach and teacher trainer, working with students and teachers at all grade levels. My passion is in helping students develop strong critical thinking and analysis skills, as well as how to convey these skills in writing. It is my belief that the ability to use the written word to communicate effectively and powerfully is one of the most important skills we can develop in our students This skill is not easily learned and is not gained simply through maturation. It is a skill that needs to be taught, practiced, and coached using effective feedback. It is my aim as a tutor to help students succeed not only in the classroom but beyond.
