Certified Tutor

I have Bachelor and Master degrees in Economics from the University of Rhode Island. I also have Master and PhD degrees in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. That is a lo of school work, and I have learned much and taught much. I have taught in the US Navy, in private technical colleges and in public universities for over 30 years. I have taught military courses, electronics technology, computer systems, economics, networking, programming, database, statistics, and data analysis. The best part of teaching and tutoring is to help the student truly understand, and then apply, the material at hand. I have taught so much, to so many, for so long, that I can always find an analogy to fit the situation. That means I can tie anything into something you already know or love. In my spare time, I enjoy music, chess, reading and piano.

I like playing and making music. I've played the piano since I was 10 and took seven years of lessons. The fun part, after all the hard work, is to improvise and jam with others.
