Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies through their College of Education. I have always been passionate about teaching, knowing from a young age that teaching was my career aspiration. I began teaching after graduation and have taught for 14 years. Though I hold multiple certifications, I am most passionate about teaching reading and grammar skills. I love expressing myself through language and reading. More importantly, I love sharing my passion for these subjects with students. My students and colleagues all know that I am the one to turn to for book recommendations, and my students know that I am a safe place to ask question. I firmly believe that all students have the ability to learn--even when it's tough. My job is to help unlock that potential. I try my best to get to know my students to find the best ways to unlock all the skills they may not have realized they possessed. In my spare time, I love reading young adult literature, singing, and anything that involves being creative.
