I have been a firefighter/paramedic for 12 years. I started as a graduate of the Central Florida Fire Academy in 2008 as a Firefighter 2/EMT-B. I was third in my class and got my interview call from the first place I applied to ON GRADUATION DAY! Talk about a rush!
I spent nine years working for the City of Maitland, FL as a relief driver/pump operator, (was put through paramedic school), a transport medic for the city, adjunct fire ground instructor, Paramedic Preceptor. I went to everything they would pay for, absorbing knowledge along the way. My mentor taught me the meaning of giving back and that has driven my desire to help new firefighters and EMT's of all levels to succeed.
After Maitland I went on to work for my dream career at the Reedy Creek Fire Department on the Walt Disney World Property. There I was a firefighter/paramedic and worked as Fire and EMS provider for the property.

I have an AA from Florida State University. I am certified Firefighter 2, NREMT Paramedic, Pennsylvania State Paramedic, FL EMT-B and Paramedic, Fire Officer 1, Live Fire Instructor Adjunct, Driver/Pump Operator, Vehicle/Machinery Rescue Tech, Rope Rescue Tech.
