I am a recent graduate of The College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish and a minor in Education. I also have a TESOL Certificate from Boise State University. I have international experience, interning in Argentina and studying abroad in Chile where I taught several history and English lessons. In the U.S., I have experience as an elementary school Spanish teacher, ELL Peer tutor, and Humanities teaching fellow. While I tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about ESL, History, and Spanish. I have experience working with the Prekindergarten-college level and I enjoy working with students of a variety of ages. I am flexible in my teaching and employ various methods to adapt to different learning styles and needs. I believe in student-driven learning with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. My goal is to help students develop their own interest in their learning so the learning process becomes meaningful to them.

Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy playing the violin and percussion. I have played for many years and earned a music scholarship in college. I have a deep appreciation for music, both creating and listening to music. I also enjoy reading, cooking, swimming, kayaking, and spending time with my family and friends.
