Certified Tutor

Everyone has a different way of learning, and asking for assistance when trying to succeed can become very frustrating. My intent is to be a tutor every student can rely on, be themselves around, and most importantly learn from in an effective manner. I love engaging my students by utilizing their format of learning to maximize their potential for success. I graduated from Marquette University from my Master's in Science in Physician Assistant studies. I have been a practicing PA-C in the greater Chicagoland area for about two years. I work in neurosurgery where I first assist in the OR, see patients post-operatively in the hospital, and also have my own independent clinics. I absolutely love connecting with patients, understanding and applying human anatomy and physiology to my patients. I was the first PA to join the evolving neurosurgery practice at my hospital. As the practice grows, it has become my responsibility to take the leadership role and train the other new Advance Practice Providers that have joined our team. This opportunity has allowed me to combine my love for teaching and tutoring with medicine. I am eager to continue my passion of tutoring on a platform outside of my current job, and to help PA students to accomplish their goals of one day becoming established PA-C's practicing across the country. My intent is to help students prep for the PANCE, End of Rotation Exams (EORs), PA school exams in general, or other subjects that are related to PA studies. I am also interested in reviewing personal statements for pre-PA students prepping to apply in the upcoming academic cycles. I enjoy literature, and writing is my favorite outlet to stress. I am happy to keep my platform open-ended to help a large variety of students on their path to professional and personal success.
