Certified Tutor

Hello, I have 20+ yrs in the CPI, including Operations, R andD, Laboratory work and Management. Also have 20+ yrs in building construction, including field inspection, design (including client/designer interface), maintenance, trouble shooting, environmental Investigation/remediation, document preparation, biding and both project and personnel management. I have taught Egn.
I hold an AAS in Chemical Technology, a BA in Sociology, BS/ME Mechanical Egn. and a PhD in Env. Egn. Lic. Professional Engineer (NYS). I have at various times held all certificates for Asbestos, Radon, Lead Based Paint and US-DOT Cert. I also was a Certified Hazard Materials Manager. Chief Stationary Egn. Lic. I attended Seminary and completed the course work for a MA Pastoral Ministry and worked as a Chaplain's Assistant.

As to teaching I believe in a strong give and take between us. I will do my best to make you think your way through a problem instead of spoon feeding you, no apologies. I enjoy teaching. I am not a theoretician but am an old hands-on plant dog and someone who has gotten their hands dirty and sometimes bloody.

Outside of Engineering I have written several novels and am a serious history buff, model RRer, wargamer, former ACW Reenactor.
