Hi! I'm an undergraduate of senior standing at Wheaton College majoring in Economics and minoring in Urban Studies. My favorite tutoring experience was with Concordia Language Villages, teaching Japanese every day for a four-week program. Combined with teaching Japanese entirely in the Japanese language, my teaching methods focused on interactive activities and applying learned knowledge through fun games and practicing the content to retain understanding.
My teaching philosophy is that while every student is different, requiring unique lesson plans and teaching styles, everyone can greatly improve with some guided effort. Encouragement goes a long way!
Outside of tutoring and school, my hobbies include piano composition, reading Japanese books and travelling across the world. I look forward to connecting with you!
