Certified Tutor

Hello everyone. My name is Michele, and I am an English and ESL professor for several local colleges in Tampa, Florida as well as an online English professor and Writing Lab Manager for Unitek College in Freemont, CA.

I have been in the field of education for over twenty years, and I am extremely passionate about what I do. I work with a diverse group of students who continue to motivate and inspire me to work harder, learn more, and excel at my job as their instructor. I instruct all levels of English Composition and ESL reading, writing, listening and speaking. I have earned my bachelors in Theatre Arts from Hartwick College in NY, certification in Secondary Education in English from Wilson College in PA, my masters in English and TESOL from the University of Alabama/Huntsville, and now finishing my journey earning my Ph.D. in Literacy from St. John's University in New York.

When not in the classroom or researching doctoral studies, I am running all over the state of Florida for my son who plays for a national premier travel soccer league and for my daughter who is a competitive equestrian. On the rare occasion when I do not have to "live" out of my truck for a weekend ;), I enjoy spending as much time as possible relaxing by the water with friends and family.
