I graduated from Hillsdale College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in both English and Art. After graduating, I spent the next year living in the Republic of Georgia, where I taught conversational English. Upon returning to the States, I spent some time working as an illustrator for a small publishing company in Louisville, KY. As of 2021, I've continued to illustrate, edit, and tutor on a freelance basis. While I tutor in a variety of subjects, my favorite subjects would be literature and writing. I worked in the Writing Center while at Hillsdale College, and found that I love to help students discover their voice and unique writing style. In addition, I love to explore literary themes and bring stories to life for students -- both for students who already love literature, as well as those who may have found it boring in the past.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing fiction, and have had several short stories professionally published.
