I received my Bachelor of Arts in English and Music from Rutgers University and have been tutoring English to children and adults for over seven years, including three years online. During these years, I have worked at tutoring centers, in clients' homes, and via a virtual classroom. I have a passion for tutoring English because I believe that English literacy is essential for succeeding in one's professional and personal life. I strive to help students develop confidence and independence in reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and writing skills. In addition to English, I am a jazz drummer and have experience in music, dance, acting, and visual arts. Utilizing my background in the arts, I design interactive discussions and hands-on projects to create a fun, engaging learning experience.
