Certified Tutor

Hello! I studied molecular biology and minored in history at Stetson University in Central Florida. I served as an AmeriCorps member specializing in urban education in Newark, NJ for the 2018-2019 academic year. I tutored and taught students in algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, chemistry, biology, and Spanish for over 1700 hours! I loved getting to know my students who remind me so much of my younger siblings. This upcoming year, I will be serving through AmeriCorps as helping immigrant youth succeed in their academics as well as their individual wellness. Because I would like to keep tutoring and teaching, I decided to sign up to be a part of Varsity Tutors to help engage motivated students to reach their absolute best not only academically, but also in terms of their grit. I am an avid soccer fan and you can find me on the soccer field, watching a game, or talking about the latest soccer news with my friends. If you have any questions feel free to let me know!
