Certified Tutor

I am currently attending UNCW for a BA in Middle Grades Education for Math/Science.

I am most passionate about math because thankfully it has mostly come easily for me. I want to be able to help those students that it doesn't come easily for.

Middle school age students are who my passion for teaching lies with. To me, middle school seems to be where students are divided into the honors track and not honors track and many of those that may begin falling behind in middle school struggle much greater in the long run. I want to be able to help students appreciate math, even if they don't necessarily like it.

I have been working in the building/design industry and my heart pulled me back to teaching and I can't wait to be in a classroom helping students.
