For as long as I can remember, learning has been a process of daring myself to grasp that which is just out of my comprehension, much my sweetest gratificaiton upon success, which is far from guaranteed.

My goal as a tutor is to guide students one step at a time toward satisfactory grades, self-fulfillment, and a renewed passion for chasing every single dream they can possibly conceive.

Needless to say, this is an ongoing process. We all get lost sometimes and too many of us have sorely wished for a tenacious tutor at some point in our academic, professional, and personal learning journeys.

The following words were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and serve as a reminder to me that the pursuit of knowledge begins with an inner centering akin to the realization that knowledge is the fruit of its own pursuit, it is a Gift from Allah, and with that Gift comes both the fancies of privilege and the much greater responsibilites collectively carried by such entitlement. Let us attain and use knowledge to benefit humankind, All of humankind. Amen. Feel free to reflect upon these words of oft-misinterpreted scripture:

Allah is then Most High, the True King, and hasten not with Quran until its revelation is completed to you, andsubmit,, 'O my Lord increase me in knowledge!
(The Holy Quran Chapter 20: Verse 114)
