Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The College of Staten Island. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Literature with a double major in English and Adolescent Education. Since graduation, I have tutored with the Sylvan Learning Center, using the curriculum they provided. I am also a server at a local seafood restaurant and am, therefore, very efficient at problem solving and quick thinking. Although I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English and Literature. I believe that language is not only a necessity, it also has the ability to turn the mundane to the extraordinary without needing to leave a room. In my spare time, I read and collect books, (Which are slowly taking over my house.) research odd curiosities of mine, (including the Tudor Era and wives of Henry VIII) play with my dogs, and try to learn something new everyday.
