Since I was a young boy, Ive been interested in science. My father was a chemistry teacher and did his best to help me to maintain that interest. As my love of the sciences increased, so did my appreciation for the work that my parents did. Those that have the privilege to teach lay the foundation for people to pursue their interests. I followed the sciences through college where I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for biology labs, and run the microscopy lab. After receiving my degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, I applied and was accepted to medical school. During my gap year, I would like to help students follow their interests in the biological sciences. I wish to help students gain an understanding of the sciences.
