I acquired my bachelor's degree at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration on early childhood through sixth grade education. While in college I freelance tutored elementary school students, middle school students and adults. I also worked as an AVID tutor at Nimitz Middle School. I currently teach 5th grade and tutor a wide range of subjects, but specialize in developmental reading and math. My favorite subjects are reading, language arts, writing and math. My goal is to assist students in achieving their fullest potential by providing assistance and guidance that is motivating, engaging, and productive. Outside of academia I enjoy sports, writing poetry, drawing and painting.
