I am a native of Louisiana and a graduate from ULL, and I find that the learning process is exciting and wonderful when you incorporate fun! I try to be as personable as possible, because comfort is key to true understanding. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I am a current graduate student concentrating in Literary and Cultural Studies. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education. I love to interact with other students and assist in the learning process. I am capable of breaking concepts down to simple terms to where anyone can understand. I also believe in the power of practice and adjusting learning according to each person's learning styles. I encourage asking questions- it is the only way to bridge the gap in learning, which is the whole point of education!
I student-taught both 6th and 7th grade English courses that focused on literature. I have two young children at home but am more than willing to meet in person if needed, preferably at a coffee shop or public area where we can focus.
