What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that education is one of the most important things in life, and I desire to be excellent in making education effective and fun as a teacher.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would first like to get to know a student and their interests so that I can know how to best help them.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I can help a student become an independent learner by asking them more questions and showing them how to process information more effectively.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
By being a consistent encourager and optimist.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I would ask them to do their best to explain the skill or concept in their own words, and provide feedback for simplifying the skill or concept.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
I help them by asking big idea questions and providing space for more practice.
