I'm a University of Michigan Ross MBA Student, who enjoys teaching. Since high school, I have been tutoring students in a variety of subjects. I was a math and French tutor at Detroit Country Day School, where I was on the board of the tutoring committee. I also worked at two Kumon Math and Reading Centers.
After high school, I got my BA from Yale University where I also worked as a tutor for my fellow classmates. After Yale, I was a consultant for many years and volunteering in NYC tutoring high school student for SAT prep and helping with homework. I love math and can definitely help you digest tricky math problems! I also am currently helping people prepare for the GMAT.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Reading comprehension can be overwhelming. There are a lot of strategies for breaking down the key concepts, finding the topic sentence, and then figuring out supporting details. Taking it line by line and teaching the student what to look for at each step of the paragraph can help reading comprehension seem less daunting.
