All students have the ability to learn given proper instruction, but sometimes they need more one on one help to master a subject.
I've taught in Aldine ISD for five years working primarily with Algebra. I've taught ESL, CT, and Tier 3 students (students who have never passed a STAAR exam). My degree is in History and I hold 9-12 Social Studies, 9-12 Math, and 4-8 Generalist certifications.
I'm happy to work with you or your student one on one to help them master whatever subject or problems are giving them trouble.

What is your teaching philosophy?
You relate to the student using examples from your own life. There are always things we don't want or don't like to do, but often those things can be very useful and necessary. Empathize with the student, show your care, and work towards fixing the problems.
