What is your teaching philosophy?
I always try to relate the certain subject or lesson to something in the outside world that the student knows. This helps them understand and relate to the question/lesson.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Get to know them as a person and academically, and see what level the student is at and what level they need to be at.
