Certified Tutor

I am interested in helping students achieve the highest level of success possible. Students all have strengths and interests that can be incorporated into the learning process and my interest is helping the student identify those as tools.

I am a recent graduate at Bastyr University where I earned a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. I also hold a Master of Science with a focus in environmental studies.
I am a former science teacher in New Hampshire where I taught ages 12-18 in a variety of sciences. I tutor many science topics, some math topics, nutrition, and health.

My teaching and tutoring style is to get to know the student and understand where the student is struggling, then be able to identify the student's preferred learning style and expound on that. I believe every learner can be challenged and achieve higher levels of success.

My interests outside of tutoring include spending time with my toddler, playing with my dogs, skiing, wake surfing, running, working out and health coaching.
