Hello Everyone! My background includes a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education with endorsements in reading and ESOL. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in school counseling. I am a very organized and detailed tutor but I feel it is important and vital to get to know the student individually. How would you help a student stay motivated?
I would find materials that are intriguing for them by knowing the student and what interests them.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I would try to let the student take a break, try a different concept or ask them questions to find out what aspect is causing them problems.
