I have been teaching in public high schools since the 1995 - 1996 school year, and I love what I do. I enjoy the subjects I teach, and I work hard to impart that excitement into my classes. I get a thrill when I see the light bulb go on as my students master a tough concept.

I expect the best from my pupils, and I provide the support and encouragement they need to succeed. I routinely challenge my students and push them just outside of their comfort zone for this is where they will experience the most growth. I ask my students to problem solve, to consider, to participate and to THINK.

For students who need extra support in mastering a new skill, I provide plenty of time for questions before, during and after school. While I will not be your student's classroom teacher, I can offer your child the time he or she needs to review work, ask questions, practice skills or prepare for an assessment.
