Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a current college student at the University of Utah. I am debating between majors right now, but I am looking into either Linguistics with an emphasis in Speech Pathology, or Architecture and Structural Engineering. I started school majoring in Metallurgical Engineering, which was fascinating because I love math and science, but I decided is not for me. In the meantime I am working on my minor in Classical Civilizations. I know that is a little all over the place, but I have interest in all realms of school and study.
I graduated high school with Top Scholar, multiple academic letters, a Math and Science cord, and as a part of the National Honors Society. Currently, I am in the National Society of Leadership and Success through the University and am on the Dean's List for outstanding grades for the 5th semester in a row. I am patient and good with kids. I am able to approach a problem from multiple directions so I am able to adapt and discover multiple learning styles. I have been known throughout a good majority of my classes as helping and tutoring my fellow students. I do have a wide array of interests so I have great knowledge in multiple academic fields. For fun I love singing, reading, drawing, learning, and helping others.
I would love to help you and see what we can learn together!
