What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy: I love to assist students to connect the logic and skill-set needed and produced from learning mathematics to their personal lives.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session, I will get to know students. I will ask students their likes and dislikes with school, math, and outside of school.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Encourage, teach and support the idea of practice, practice, and more practice.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I am a positive psychology guru. I always focus on the positive abilities and skills that a student may have to help increase confidence and motivation.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I search for methods and resources to assist the students. I may look up other methods teachers are using to teach the concept and ask colleagues for support.
