I am excited to tutor for Varsity Tutors. I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring students all over the world and I thoroughly enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals. I have been teaching since 2010 when I joined the Peace Corps and served as an English teacher in a primary and secondary school Ukraine. I also have experience teaching college levels students and worked as a English professor on a Fulbright scholarship to Budapest, Hungary in 2013.
I am a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where I earned a Master's degree in International Relations and International Economics. I specialize teaching in English, Economics, US History, and European History.
I am super excited to tutor and I hope to help you with your academic needs.

I love reading and being outdoors. I am an avid runner and have completed three marathons! When I have free time I try to travel as much as possible. I enjoy visiting new countries and learning about foreign cultures and languages.

How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
If you are struggling with reading comprehension I will work hard to help you develop strategies and tactics to approach reading. I can provide you with learning materials as well as positive reinforcement to help you build confidence in the subject and realize success.
