First of all, I'd like to say that I am a Slytherin. In other words, I have tremendous ambition for learning, and as a tutor, I believe in sharing that excitement and ambition for learning with my students. Few things are as satisfying as learning or exercising a skill, in my opinion.
Currently, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Utah, studying both Linguistics and Computer Science. I'm hoping to earn my Ph.D in Linguistics by 2022, and my Master's in Computer Science by 2021. Outside of school, I regularly practice Krav Maga, Choy Li Fut (Israeli and Chinese martial arts, respectively), and ballet.
In 2015, earned an associate's degree in French language from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA. Other than that, I have been studying Mandarin Chinese since early 2015, Italian since 2007, and grew up speaking Spanish and English at home. I have been tutoring in several of these languages since 2010, and hope not only to help students improve proficiency in their desired language, but also to improve my own understanding of these languages as I tutor.
Learning never stops, and the best way to facilitate learning is to help others to learn as well.
"It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. Rather, they went out and happened to things." -Leonardo da Vinci

What is your teaching philosophy?
A teacher must allow the student to learn not WHAT to think, but HOW to think for themselves, and also they must encourage the student to love learning.
