Certified Tutor

Throughout high school and college, I have garnered a wealth of volunteer and paid tutoring experience in a wide variety of subjects. As a current college junior at the University of Pennsylvania, I am familiar with the competitiveness of seeking admission to top-tier universities and can use my personal experience in my tutoring. Most relevant, I have been recognized by the University of Pennsylvania for my writing ability and am employed at our Critical Writing Center. Here, I advise both undergraduate and graduate students on their academic and professional writing, editing and proofreading for grammar, logical coherence, and persuasiveness. I love my job at the Writing Center and enjoy the one-on-one time I have with recurring tutees. These skills would give me specific insight into the college writing style, particularly helpful in working with college application essays.
