Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where I majored in Biochemistry. Studying biochemistry allowed me to expand my knowledge of science, which is something I've craved since I was young. I have a desire for learning, and I loved taking all sorts of classes at Mizzou, from Medicinal Chemistry to the Biology of Cancer. I consider myself a well rounded scientific scholar.
While at Mizzou, I worked as a tutor in the Student Success Center. There I tutored students in freshman level General Chemistry, as well as upper level Biochemistry classes. Tutoring gave me a great look at the needs of many different types of students, and what I can do to be flexible enough to meet those needs.
For fun, I like to read, watch sports (Go Cardinals!), and spend time outside hiking and exploring different trails. During the summer I try to spend as much time at the pool as possible.
