My philosophy is to teach not just from the textbook; I want students to understand and comprehend what is being taught to them. I feel that when you teach a person and guide them to learn social skills they become more in becoming independent, successful, and ready for what is ahead in the real world. I have experience teaching in the Education field for about five to six years. I am a current special education teacher working with 6th grade science. I also have experience in implementing several strategies, modeling, demonstrating, and differential instruction into the classroom. I believe in students to learn and progress; when a student is progressing they are showing growth. I believe in individuals being life long learners; the more a person learns the more likely they are to be successful.
