Certified Tutor

I have have been studying Spanish for 14 years. I received both my Bachelors and my Masters degree from Wayne State University, and I am currently working on my PhD in Spanish Literature. I have been teaching Spanish for 7 years at the college level as well as tutoring high school and college students privately. My favorite subject to tutor is Spanish. I love sharing my knowledge with other people and helping others achieve their academic goals. Language has been my passion for a long time, and it is a pleasure to know that I can make a difference in the world. My teaching style revolves around the four basic skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Whatever activity we might be doing I try to include these four main skills. It helps students progress faster. Aside from teaching Spanish I like dancing and cooking as well as trying different foods. I started taking salsa lessons 10 years ago, and I have been dancing ever since. It is a great complement to Spanish language, and I get to meet new people as well as practice my Spanish (also a great work-out).
