Certified Tutor

I have over 30 years' experience in teaching, middle school through university, in multiple fields -- mainly French, Spanish, Latin, technology, and coaching, but including photography, sailing and coastal navigation, and athletic injuries and rehabilitation. Teaching is not limited to school-settings or to school-subjects alone. My signature traits are enthusiasm, attention to detail, a high level of organization, listening, patience, clear and concise communication, exact writing, and interest in many disciplines informed by a wide variety of reading and experience.

My undergraduate degrees are from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, ME (Foreign Languages) and Capital University, Columbus, OH (Athletic Training). I hold a Master's degree in French Literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
