I grew up in the Portland area, but I attend college in Seattle at Seattle Pacific University. I received an Advanced High School Diploma from Oregon City High School and was Valedictorian of my senior class. My major is biochemistry, and I plan on going on to medical school after my undergraduate education. I enjoy tutoring students in mathematics and sciences because I find these subjects the most intriguing and applicable to real world situations. When tutoring, I try to create a learning environment that is low stress, productive, and stimulating. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family along with getting outside to run, hike, and swim. I also have 7 years experience playing the saxophone.
