Certified Tutor

I believe learning can (and should) be fun. When students enjoy learning, they will be more dedicated and learn more effectively. With that said, a teacher's job is to find the best way to make learning enjoyable while still presenting a challenge for the student.

I really enjoy working one-on-one with students. I get to know them on a deeper level, which helps build rapport and makes learning more enjoyable. It also allows me to devote more individualized attention to that student, assessing their needs and ensuring progress.

I am an experienced tutor, and I've helped a lot of students succeed in their academics. I have a degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Vermont, and I'm also a certified ESL teacher. Just recently I returned from China, where I was working as both the head of the English department and as a private tutor. I'm also currently working with elementary students who qualify for supplementary education services through the government.
