Certified Tutor

I am a 2012 graduate from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.A. in History. Starting September of 2014 I will begin my studies as a J.D. student at the University of Washington School of Law. In the meantime, I work as a legal assistant at a law firm in downtown Seattle. My academic passions include History, Philosophy, Literature, French, Latin, and Psychology. I particularly enjoy tutoring students in any subject that involves reading and writing, particularly composing and editing essays and other written work. I believe that with perseverance and some capable guidance, a student can work to overcome any learning obstacles and be successful. My goal is to closely assess my students in order to form my instruction around their needs. I pride myself in being a patient, kind, and outgoing person.

Outside of work and school, I love to snowboard, backpack, travel, and cook. As an undergraduate student, I rowed for the University of Washington Varsity Women's Crew where I earned a PAC-10 Championship, 4th at NCAAs, and the award of PAC-10 All-American.
