I am a current student at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Political Science on a pre-law track. I have experience as a tutor for major college admissions consulting company, and have served as a teaching assistant for a college-level history course. I really enjoy working with students and helping them progress in the subject they're working; my goal is to have them grow academically and learn to trust and invest in their abilities as a student.

I am a veteran college chemistry professor with a Ph.D. from Yale who has taught Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry I many times. I have also taught Introductory Chemistry to students who had never had chemistry before and also a General, Organic, and Biochemistry course for health professions. I look at chemistry as a set of skills to be learned, similar to learning a sport or a musical instrument. I can show you what to do, but to really learn you need to do things yourself.

I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University where I received a BS in Human and Organizational Development. I also minored in Quantitative Methods and have a passion for statistics. I have spent time living in France and England and love to travel. My time abroad has cultivated a love of language and writing and how to use academic tools in order to create opportunities in life beyond the classroom. I have gotten my teacher certification in the state of New York, right after graduating. After graduating from NYU, I taught English to students in Elementary School in Korea (G1-6) and I have taught all different levels. I am now pursuing a master's of Education in English Language Learner program at Vanderbilt University. I am passionate about elementary education and teaching English as a foreign language. I am a Speech Pathology major completing my master's degree at Vanderbilt University. I completed my Bachelor???s at the University of South Florida with an honors thesis on the current research in the field of linguistic relativity among bilinguals. My research interests include literacy, the relationship between cognition and language, and the history of language. My other interests include public speaking and volunteering. My goal is to become a Ph.D. researcher after I obtain my Certificate of Clinical Competence as a speech therapist. I tutor a wide variety of ages in a range of subjects, including but not limited to test preparation, latin, philosophy, and writing.
