I went on to obtain my Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Since obtaining my teaching certificate I have spent many years in the classroom as a teacher. I have 7 years of classroom teaching experience, as well as 2 years of leadership experience as an instructional coach and assistant principal. I love working with all ages of Elementary students, and better understanding what their needs are, and how I can help them to be successful! I believe that in order for a student to be successful you need to get to know them and truly understand their learning style, and I pride myself on ensuring I build a relationship with all of my students and I do everything I can to ensure their growth and progress. Being a mom to 4 amazing children I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do have it I enjoy being outside!

I absolutely love spending time with my family and watching them compete in their sports! My two older daughters are gymnastics fanatics, and my son is an amazing baseball player. As long as I am spending time with them I am exactly where I want to be!
