About Me

I have degrees in Elementary Education, English as a Second Language Arts, and Reading from Michigan State University and Oakland University. I have been a teacher for ten years, teaching kindergarten, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. I also worked as a reading specialist for fourth-sixth graders. I love working with students to help them achieve their academic potential! I bring a fun, approachable viewpoint to learning. My favorite subject to teach is literacy, because I love working with students to get excited about unlocking the world through reading and writing. I am very passionate and enthusiastic.
