This includes Algebra 1 and 2, Earth, Physical (chem) and Life Science, Genetics, Nutrition, Biology, Microbiology and more. I have also tutored students preparing for college and graduate preparatory exams. I have spent the past year lecturing college Microbiology and the previous 2 years teaching math and science at the middle school level; last summer I worked at a Pre-K/daycare center. I have tutored countless biological subjects in college and graduate school. I received my B.S. in Environmental Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in New York and my M.S. in Environmental Systems (Engineering) from The University of California- Merced. I tutor all ages and sub-topics within the realm of science, as well as middle school math. I have experience working with students of varying abilities and I'm skilled at assessing needs, deficiencies, and meeting students where they're at. Being in academia for the majority of my life, I know what concepts are important for students to understand not only for academic success, but for genuine understanding of subject matter and future use.
