I have been a tutor for around seven years and have experience tutoring a variety of academic subjects such as calculus, creative writing, and organic chemistry for older students and test prep and elementary subjects for younger students. Some of the kids I've worked with are non-verbal and non-mobile, others simply require a detailed schedule to keep them focused. Regardless of what the kid needs, I'm prepared to work with the family to make sure they achieve their goals. Finally, I attended a Jewish day school for most of my life, where in addition to regular courses, I studied Hebrew and Judaic studies. I can also speak Spanish and some Turkish and ASL.

In my spare time, I love to read, write, crochet, and draw. I do research in health psychology and organic chemistry, and at school, I'm the public health and research leader for community health organizers and a tour guide. I am also an activist and spend a lot of time at protests and social justice-oriented events.
