I have a Masters in Education in Teaching from California Baptist University. I have 12 years of teaching experience, including 3 years teaching overseas. I have taught KG, 2nd and 4th grades full time. I have also taught 7th Grade Science and Social Studies. Prior to being credentialed, I worked as a substitute teacher for 4 years while going to school. I come from a family of educators, and it is my passion to work with kids. I have a son with autism, so I am well versed in educating students with diverse needs. I served 9 years in the Navy and I am a proud veteran. I have a 14-year-old son. In my free time, I enjoy doing Tough Mudder events and endurance running.
